Unit Manager/Supervisor - RN
Heritage Hall is recruiting for a Unit Manager/Supervisor – RN. The Unit Manager/Supervisor is responsible for supervising and directing the nursing staff and nursing aides in rendering quality resident care services. They are responsible for ensuring the clinical unit staff is complying with the policies and procedures set forth by the facility as well as state and federal regulations. They ensure staff is aware of all residents and their needs, and that those needs are met timely. The Unit Manager/Supervisor is a member of Nursing Administration.
Qualifications:
- Must have ASN or BSN degree from an accredited college or have graduated from an accredited nursing program
- Must have an active RN license in the state of Virginia
- Experience in long-term care preferred
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures
- Knowledge of the laws, regulations and guidelines governing nursing functions in a long-term care facility
- Ability to communicate effectively and work constructively with a wide variety of individuals
- Ability to cope with mental and emotional stress
