High school diploma or equivalent; completion of technical training or certification in plumbing services is preferred.
Proven experience as a Service or installation technician in plumbing services, with a track record of successful repairs and maintenance.
Strong technical knowledge of plumbing systems, troubleshooting techniques, and repair methods.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information to clients effectively.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Physical ability to lift heavy equipment with a minimum of 50 pounds, climb ladders, and perform manual tasks.
Willingness to work flexible hours and be available for on-call rotations (where applicable).
1. Service Calls and System Diagnostic / New System Installations
Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests on electrical systems to identify issues, malfunctions, or potential problems accurately.
Utilize advanced testing equipment and technical knowledge to pinpoint complex problems efficiently.
Installation of new equipment when needed in customers in partnership with other departments.
2. Repairs and Maintenance:
Perform skilled and complex repairs or maintenance on electrical systems, ensuring all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards.
Recommend appropriate solutions to enhance system performance and reliability.
3. Customer Communication:
Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, explaining repair options, providing estimates, and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
Educate customers on the benefits of regular maintenance and energy-efficient upgrades.
4. Parts and Inventory Management:
Maintain proper inventory levels of equipment, tools, and parts needed for repairs, ensuring readiness for service calls.
Coordinate with warehouse teams to order necessary supplies and maintain accurate records of used materials.
5. Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing tasks, prioritizing the safety of clients, colleagues, and oneself.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety procedures at all times.
6. Documentation:
Accurately document service activities, including work performed, parts used, and time spent, using company-provided systems and tools.
Prepare detailed service reports and provide them to the appropriate personnel and customers as required.
7. Technical Expertise:
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, product developments, and best practices related to plumbing and seminars to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
8. Licenses and Certifications:
Possess and maintain all required licenses and certifications for electrical services as mandated by local and state regulations.
Provide copies of valid licenses and certifications upon request.
9. Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with fellow technicians and other departments to ensure effective communication and efficient service delivery.
Assist colleagues with complex tasks and provide support when needed.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
10. Billable Efficiency:
Optimize work processes and time management techniques to maximize billable hours.
Collaborate with the dispatch team to plan efficient routes and minimize travel time between service calls.
Attend regular development meetings to review billable efficient targets and discuss strategies for improvement.
