What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recuiter position at Heritage Pointe?
General Statement of Duties
The Recruiter position is responsible for providing support in executing the organization’s talent strategy. They provide emphasis on finding and developing recruiting pipelines to help hire the best and brightest talent. The Recruiter will facilitate the full cycle recruitment process including the development and implementation of hiring events, maintaining the applicant tracking system, reviewing resumes, and screening candidates prior to scheduling interviews. The Recruiter will adhere to deadlines and complete tasks with a high degree of detail and accuracy.
Essential Job Functions
1. Works closely with managers to understand staffing needs.
2. Executes candidate sourcing strategies to ensure a constant flow of leads for job opportunities.
3. Be a headhunter by sourcing candidates on job boards, through referrals, social media, and recruiting events.
4. Conducts cold calls to passive candidates to present opportunities for critical positions.
5. Enters and maintains accurate information in the applicant tracking system including job postings, applicant responses, and other required data.
6. Develops and maintains a network and database of candidates for consideration.
7. Acts as the direct point of contact for candidates throughout every step of the recruiting life cycle.
8. Develops and maintains relationships with educational institutions and employment agencies.
9. Performs other duties as required.
Job Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or recruiting experience preferred.
2. Experience sourcing talent and driving applications.
3. Proficiency with an ATS or CRM system.
4. Experience utilizing social media and other recruitment tools.
