Human Resources Coordinator


Job Location: Plymouth, IN


Summary


To describe the role and responsibilities for the Plant Human Resources Coordinator Job Description. This position will report directly to the HR Manager and be responsible for supporting the administration of the human resources function at this location and be an integral member of the HR Team. The HR Coordinator has key responsibilities across all aspects of HR administration and must have an HR Generalist background.


Responsibilities:


  • Primary responsibility for contractors, visitors, employees, vendors, etc. at front window and training visitors on GMP’s as well as other reception duties
  • Coordinate company wellness and employee events such as yearly picnic, flu shots, blood drive, wellness programs, etc.
  • Involvement in HR Projects
  • Miscellaneous Filing
  • Miscellaneous clerical and administration duties
  • Manage and order Office supplies
  • Assist HR Manager as needed
  • Maintain the Trumpia program
  • Maintain the Aurora program
  • Scan termed employee files for Filebound
  • Clean out termed employee lockers
  • Create new hire folders
  • Organize breakroom supplies, coffee supplies, etc.
  • Answer phones and direct calls to appropriate person
  • Manage information on the TVs
  • Input information into GMP tracker
  • Get Certificate of Insurance as needed from vendors
  • Manager HR Manager credit card receipts
  • Scan invoices
  • Create personnel files for new hires
  • Organize new hire paperwork as needed
  • Miscellaneous duties as requested

Required Skills/Abilities


  • Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Must have minimum 3-5 years previous HR experience including payroll and benefits in a factory setting.
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience in all Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Preferred Skills


  • HR Generalist background 3 years
  • Self motivated, strong initiative, multi-tasker
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, HR or organizational development.
