What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warranty Processor position at Hertz Local Edition?
The Warranty Processor submits OEM coded warranty claims from the warranty writers into multiple warranty systems.
The hourly rate for this opportunity is $17.00 per hour.
What You’ll Do:
- Enter coded warranty claims into Reynolds and Reynolds application or through manufacturers website warranty systems.
- Enter history and accounting data into R&R for the non-integrated manufacturers.
- Submit PDI information on designated manufacturers.
- Print and reconcile the daily/weekly/monthly manufacturer statement to the claims submitted.
- Submit rejected claims to the warranty writer for correction and then resubmit.
- Research and resolve any monthly aging issues with each manufacturer.
- Work with warranty writers and other processors to assist and ensure claims are processed in a timely fashion and not to exceed manufacturer claims submission deadlines.
- Document and maintain playbook for claim submission processing by OEM and application.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in warranty processing or equivalent experience preferred
- Data entry experience required
- Ability to learns and achieve proficiency in new software applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Strong organization and analytical skills
