Job Overview:

The Senior Financial Analyst position reports to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis. Responsibilities include Weekly Operating Report (WOR), budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, month end close analysis, and other special projects as assigned.  This role will work with the Operations personnel to transform data and business environment knowledge into actionable insight.   The Senior Financial Analyst must partner with operational leadership to achieve company goals.  As a highly valued team member, the analyst will support day to day business decisions with operational leadership as their Financial partner.  Significant opportunity for growth to executive levels of management within the organization.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

• Financial Analysis & Reporting that supports an efficient and effective close process
• Maintain the Weekly Operating Report (WOR) file for K-12 and Clean-Tech
• Responsible for the assembly, analysis and reporting related to the annual budget

               process

• Responsible for building and updating Annual Budgets throughout the year as new

               business is added

• Reforecasting the entire agency to drive improved future business decisions
• Assist with price increase calculations for the field
• Prepare ad hoc analysis to support operational insight and efficiency gains
• Other projects as assigned

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have an Accounting degree and at least 10 years of financial analysis experience
• CPA or MBA is a plus
• Think like a business owner
• Highly-motivated self starter interested in long term career growth
• Very strong computer skills; advanced Excel proficiency with pivot tables, sumifs and other advanced data mining tools in Excel
• Highly detail-oriented with strong focus on accuracy and adherence to financial deadlines
• Strong sense of curiosity and diligence in investigating anomalies
• Highly adaptable and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Comfort interacting regularly with Operations areas and all levels of management
