Job Summary:
The Fleet Care Engineer primary responsibility will be to support field service with repair activities and documentation needs and development of special products needed for field service technicians or customers. The service readiness engineer will have time split between supporting field work including service work, MAE, and improvements to the process as well as supporting design engineering functions within both HTS as well as MP product development. The service engineer will have the responsibility of leading projects related to warranty or service. This will require organization of needed materials and installation.
This work will include but is not limited to disassembly and reassembly of TITAN® modules, troubleshooting issues and creating solutions while working with the highest regard for safety due to; nature of the product, weather conditions and operating of various lifts (i.e. forklift, all terrain and man lifts). Additional responsibility will include supporting all warranty and service work of mobile pipeline products.
Duties and responsibilities
- Lead the strategy for service of upcoming products thru inter and intra departmental communications
- Monitor change requests and route the necessary actions throughout the service group.
- Provide technical interface to the documentation team
- Lead design for serviceability input of new products
- Manage and distribute Internal Support Requests for action as necessary
- Research options and sales volumes of products for refurbishment packages
Required Experience/Knowledge
- Physical requirements include the focus and ability to perform any of the work involved in the design and building of alternative fuel systems including installation, diagnosis and repair.
- Experience in alternative fueled vehicle fuel systems is a strong benefit
- Program Management skills a plus
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, low volume niche product environment
- Proficient in 3D CAD design software review, design capability a benefit
- Proficient in ERP required, IFS experience a benefit

Degree Requirements: BS in Engineering
Certification Requirements: NA
Previous Experience: 5 Years
Travel Requirements: 20%
On Call Requirements: 20%
