Responsibilities
Hexagon is seeking to hire an Intern-SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test). This position involves verification and validation of Intergraph’s SmartPlant Enterprise suite of engineering products. The ideal candidate will work with integrated applications in one or more of the following areas:
- Software testing (White box testing and Black box testing), Quality Assurance, and Customer Support
- Software release and deployment
- Developing and maintaining manual and Automated test plans and procedures
- Monitoring Automated Test Procedures (ATPs)
- Working within a Scrum environment
- Interfacing with internals including software development and product planning
- Administration of Windows servers and server virtualization
- Administration of relational databases – Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or related areas. Require thorough understanding of programming concepts and course work and projects to prove that. Experience with SmartPlant Foundation, or any other Intergraph product used in the Plant Design industry is also a plus.
