Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
The Radiation Therapist, under the medical direction of the Radiation Oncologist and in consultation with the Physicist, insures optimal radiation treatment course through proper planning and implementation of radiation therapy processes, including interpretation, analysis and coordination of optimal radiation therapy for each patient.
Minimum Qualification
Education: Graduate of accredited radiation therapist program.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Registered as a Radiation Therapist RT(T), through the American Registry of Radiologic Technology. BLS Certification with a designation of either BLS Provider or Healthcare Provider from either the American Heart Association or client or Military Training Network.
You would be joining an experienced team of Radiation Oncology care providers. We have one treatment machine, a Truebeam, we are a Varian facility, utilizing Aria in our treatment area.
