What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tutors - Chula Vista position at HeyTutor?
HeyTutor has partnered with a school district in Chula Vista and we're looking to hire tutors who can assist middle and high school students before and after regular school hours. You will be working with students of all ages between 6th-12th grade. You must be available Monday-Friday and the pay ranges between $20-$24 per hour depending on your experience. Being bilingual is not required but it is a plus!

JOB INFORMATION:
You'll be actively supervising students as you help them catch up from learning gaps developed over the past school year.
You must be comfortable passing an IN-PERSON background check.

SCHEDULE:
Monday-Friday. 5 hours per day.
38 Tutors needed during and after school.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Tutoring experience (great at working with kids)
- Comfortable working in a classroom setting
- High level math experience
- 2 years of tutoring experience
- Clear FBI-DOJ background check (provided through us)
- COVID-19 Vaccination or weekly testing
- Negative TB test result
PAY:
Pay depends on experience and is determined at the time of the interview
