HFI has an immediate need for a Shipping and Recieving Associate with Forklift experience. They will be responsible for maintaining the flow of raw materials, finished product and related containers into the Warehouse and out to Production cells. In addition to maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly work environment you will cross train on other production lines to back fill when needed.
Primary responsibilities include:
Accurately supply production areas with raw material throughout the shift by pulling material from racks in Warehouse and using scan gun to scan items to and from appropriate bins.
Assist in receiving of goods from suppliers by unloading trucks, scanning items in, and placing into appropriate bins.
Inspect condition and quantity of received materials as specified in the Receiving Procedure.
Performs picking, packaging, put away, line stocking and FIFO labeling in an efficient and accurate manner while following pertaining work instructions for each activity.
Keep warehouse clean and organized during shift. This includes removing empty pallets, organizing racks, breaking down boxes, trash removal, etc. Always follow 5s practices.
