WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Maintain annual construction budgets for all projects and initiate variance and change order reports for any negative variances in all projects.
- Responsible for the acceptance process of installed infrastructure with local and state government agencies
- Assist with updating and forecasting project proformas as needed.
- Review, adjudicate discrepancies, and approve all construction invoices for payment.
- Prepare and update construction project schedules per established construction process.
- Oversee and manage construction projects during the construction process.
- Oversee and manage of all construction contractors working on projects. Assist in the safety of the job site and compliance with OSHA regulations and injury reporting requirements.
- Assist with the bidding and sourcing process
- Assist with the coordination of others to obtain permits for all projects.
- Ensure quality construction standards from all contractors
- Review work progress and provide feedback/corrective actions to contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with contractors, builders, adjacent property owners, residents, county and state employees/inspectors, and HOA representatives.
REQUIREMENTS

High School diploma or equivalent and 3 years of relevant construction experience required or 4-Year Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or other related field required
- Knowledge of building products, construction details, and regulations.
- Understanding of all facets of the construction process.
- Excellent organization, motivation, leadership, management and interpersonal skills
- Critical thinking, complex problem solving, judgment, and decision-making ability.
- Ability to apply a comprehensive knowledge of particular field of specialization to the completion of difficult assignments with the ability to identify, plan and prioritize business opportunities.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate and provide guidance to all employee levels.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products
- Ability to work with sensitive or confidential information.
- Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently.
- Ability to adjust to changing circumstances.
- Excellent time and project management skills.
- Knowledge of OSHA Standards
