Measles and Rubella immunization required for selectees born after 1957 and seasonal influenza immunization is required for all staff working in Indian Health Service health care facilities.
COVID-19 vaccination is required for all selectees prior to entrance on duty.
The selected individual is required to obtain and maintain any licensure requirements. If licenses are not obtained or maintained during employment, the employee will be subject to adverse actions, up to and including removal from Federal service.

Basic Requirement(s)
Degree: behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position.
OR
Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
OR
Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
Selective Factor - Screenout: Ability to provide independent mental health services as evidence by possession of one of the following current, valid licensures: licensed psychologist, licensed clinical social worker (LSW-C)(LCSW), licensed marital and family therapist (LMFT), licensed professional counselor (LPC), licensed behavioral practitioner (LBP) or licensed alcohol and drug counselor (LADC). You must provide a copy of your current, valid licensure or your application will be considered incomplete.
In addition, to the Basic Requirements, you must also meet the Minimum Qualifications stated below-
Minimum Qualifications
GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks:
Specialized Experience: Providing diagnostic, treatment, referral, crisis intervention and consultation services for psychiatric patients in accordance with standards established by incumbents professional mental health organization.
You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.
