Floor Tech Job Description
Our goal is to provide a superior level of cleaning quality in an assigned area to maintain a clean working environment.
 Reports to the Environmental Services Director for work scheduling.
 In assigned areas, performs daily cleaning, buffing, and bonneting procedures in accordance with HHS training videos.
 Records work completed on Area Assignment Checklist.
 Responds to Housekeeping pages.
 Performs floor stripping and extraction projects.
 Performs other tasks as assigned by department Director.
 Able to lift 0 – 40 lb. frequently.
 Capable of standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift.
 Capable of lifting furniture and equipment (25 – 100 lb.) frequently.
 Capable of pushing and pulling a housekeeping cart, linen cart, or various equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift.
 Capable of pushing and pulling furniture and equipment (25 – 100 lb.) frequently.
 Must be able to handle/interact with all chemicals used (i.e., bleach, wax, Virex, etc.).
 Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and even other hours as needed per assigned area.
