Housekeeper Job Description:
- Our goal is to provide a superior level of cleaning quality in an assigned area to maintain a clean working environment.
- Reports to the Environmental Services Director and Assistant Director for work scheduling.
- Performs daily cleaning procedures in accordance with HHS training videos in assigned areas.
- Records work completed on Area Assignment Checklist.
- Polices assigned area at the beginning of each shift.
- Responds to Housekeeping pages.
- Performs other tasks as assigned by department Director.
Floor Tech Job Description:
- Our goal is to provide a superior level of cleaning quality in an assigned area to maintain a clean working environment.
- Reports to the Environmental Services Director for work scheduling.
- In assigned areas, performs daily cleaning, buffing, and bonneting procedures in accordance with HHS training videos.
- Records work completed on Area Assignment Checklist.
- Responds to Housekeeping pages.
- Performs floor stripping and extraction projects.
- Performs other tasks as assigned by department Director.
- Able to lift 0 – 40 lb. frequently.
- Capable of standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift.
- Capable of lifting furniture and equipment (25 – 100 lb.) frequently.
- Capable of pushing and pulling a maid cart, linen cart, or various equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift.
- Capable of pushing and pulling furniture and equipment (25 – 100 lb.) frequently.
- Must be able to handle/interact with all chemicals used (i.e., bleach, wax, Virex, etc.).
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and even other hours as needed per assigned area.
- Must have communication skills in English.
