What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Labor Worker position at Hi Pressure, Inc.?
Truck Washer Driver and job duties are below:
PURPOSE: Perform fleet washing, detailing and sanitizing of road tractors, van trailers, flat bed trailers, gravel trailers, dump trucks, tankers, wreckers, tow trucks, pickups and cars to the quality standard set by the company at the customer location driving a company provided vehicle.
DUTIES:
- Cleans customer motor vehicles according to the customers or company's specific instructions using various cleaning equipment, tools, solutions, foams and detergents.
- Wash and rinse according to the techniques learned during training and practice.
- Help prepare with loading soap and checking proper operating of all equipment.
- Help set up the job site for wash operations.
- Inspect vehicles thoroughly after each clean to ensure it meets standards of quality of service established by the company.
- Maintain the proper functioning of all service tools and equipment.
- Reporting any damage, dents to the Supervisor.
- Use the optimal wash and rinse pattern to obtain a quality wash job while conserving water and time.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Subject to outdoor weather conditions through all seasons (cold and hot weather). Must be able to work with strong detergents and chemicals. Must be able to workdays and weekends. Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THE JOB: Ability to stand and walk all the time. Reach and pull with hands and arms, both above and below the shoulder. Lift and move up to 50 pounds. Use hand tools and other equipment. Work outdoors for extended period of time throughout different weather such as very hot and humid temperatures during summer and cold and below freezing in the winter.
REQUIREMENTS: Must have had a VALID driver license for the past 3 years and meet our insurance requirements. Must have excellent customer service skills and be detailed oriented. Must be an active listener and multi-tasker. Ability to effectively use any and all resources, tools and equipment and keep track of an inventory of supplies. Should have great knowledge of safety rules and procedures. Should possess technical knowledge to perform the cleaning of motor vehicles. Effective verbal communication skills with customers, co-workers and management. Must be a team player and show initiative to complete the jobs in a specified window of time.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Full Time - Weekends are Mandatory and a couple days a week.
Part Time - Weekends are Mandatory
Starting Pay
$15.00 per hour
