Who are we?
Hibiscus Brew is a new hip café located in Brooklyn New York. Our goal is to be the café of choice for the local Prospect Lefferts Gardens neighborhood. We sell healthy smoothies, salads, sandwiches, and juices.

What you’ll do
Help to make hot beverages, healthy smoothies, juices, salads, and handcrafted sandwiches. Hibiscus Brew team member, you will be one of the faces of the brand, live into the playful brand spirit when customers come in. In this role, you will largely be responsible for selling items and building relationships with the customer to build repeat business and help them with food choices.
Bring Hibiscus Brew to life
- They know how to make smoothies, juices, coffee, specialty drinks, salads, sandwiches, and more. Coffee Experience required.
- Keep the spaced immaculate as we take pride in working in a clean space.
- Participate in strategic execution of keeping the store organized to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Support customers in deciding on what to buy.
- Create a unique customer experience to increase brand awareness and build customer loyalty, ultimately driving repeat business and referrals
- Be the eyes and ears of Neat Rules from the field: report on observations regarding competitor activity
- Responsible for taking photos and creating content to post to social media accounts.
- Communicate success stories, key learnings, and other activities to your Manager
- Amplify Hibiscus Brew initiatives through personal networking and social media support

You have...
- Relevant experience as a barista, line cook, or a team member in the food industry
- The ability to positively engage people
- An understanding of food preparation and following the Department of Health (DOH) health and hygiene guidelines
- Access to a personal smartphone and computer for schedule updates, reporting, photo capturing, and emails
- The ability to lift heavy items, including boxes up to 30 lbs.
- A food handler permit is required but you can get it while working
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
