Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) - Hickory Treatment Centers at Terre Haute

Are you passionate about helping others and making a difference in people's lives? We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Director of Nursing to help lead the operations of the Nursing Service Department to ensure that the highest degree of quality client care is provided.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the DON with leadership to the Nursing Service Department consisting of an ADON, LPNs, RNs, and QMAs.
- Performs intake assessments on all clients, timely and complete medical record documentation.
- Use clinical judgment to manage delivery of patient care safely and effectively.
- Develop and implement nursing care plans, staff schedule, and manage staff performance.
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance in all communication regarding clients.
- Additional duties as directed.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school for professional nurses and licensed in good standing (LPN or RN)
- At least 2 years prior experience as an LPN or RN preferably with hospital and behavioral health experience
- Must hold a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and provide own insured transportation.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to effectively handle challenging situations.
- Advanced oral and written communication skills, computer literacy and ability to use an EMR.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Work Schedule: Second Shift, Monday- Friday, 3-11:30p
Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000k
