What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Supervisor position at Hidden Villa Ranch?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Reviews bills of lading for incoming merchandise and customer orders in order to plan work activities.
Schedule all delivery appointments
Assigns workers to specific duties, such as verifying amounts of and storing incoming merchandise and assembling customer orders for delivery.
Establishes operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of merchandise, and keeping of warehouse inventory.
Ensures the shipping and warehouse are kept clean and organized.
Studies loading schedules and estimates worker hour’s requirements for completion of job assignment.
Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
Recommends measures to improve methods to increase efficiency of department.
Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.
Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
Coordinates activities of distribution warehouse with activities of sales, record control, and purchasing departments to ensure availability of merchandise.
Directs reclamation of damaged merchandise.
Bilingual in Spanish and English-plus
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises up to 10 employees in the warehouse. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university preferred; or three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary : $1,080 - $1,120
