We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and innovative teacher of mathematics to join our experienced department to cover maternity leave. The school would welcome applications from NQTs as well as experienced teachers.

Highfields is a vibrant, popular school with approximately 1300 students, including 200 in our sixth form. We are a spilt site school situated in Matlock, on the south-eastern edge of the beautiful Peak District and within easy reach of Sheffield, Derby and Nottingham. Our students are friendly and highly motivated. We were judged as a good school by Ofsted in May 2017 and are committed to continuous improvement in all aspects of our work.

The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post, will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
