Job Summary:
Weatherization Installer will travel with their crew in a company vehicle to residential homes in the area, evaluating and installing home energy upgrades for customers. You will be performing energy-efficient measures with the highest quality and efficiency. Installations often include changing shower heads, doors, windows, caulking, Smart Thermostats, duct sealing, and portable ACs and other minor home upgrades while provide excellent customer service to all residents and program participants.
Duties and Responsibilities:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to drive, walk, climb, crawl, push, pull, reach, sit, stand, climb ladders, and work with various tools and equipment. Must be able to operate a pallet jack. Can listen, understand, and communicate in writing and verbally. The employee will frequently be required to lift objects up to 50 pounds.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Able to work full-time and OT.
- Working with basic hands tools.
- Able to install approved Energy Efficiency Measures.
- Successfully complete required paid training (per Weatherization Specialist Training Plan) to obtain certification.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results.
- High school diploma or GED certificate (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and a decently clean DMV record.
- 1 year(s) of building industry carpentry, maintenance, mechanical, and/or Weatherization Specialist training (preferred).
- Previous construction experience (preferred).
- Capable of using hand tools, power tools, and ladders.
- Ability to climb up and down ladders up to 16 feet.
- Ability to read, analyzes, interpret, and identify, document and report information.
