What are the responsibilities and job description for the SEO Manager position at Highnoon?

Highnoon is expanding rapidly and is looking for a full-time SEO Manager. We are requiring a minimum of 5 years of experience directly managing and implementing successful SEO strategies.
In this role you will create and implement organic search strategies for our clients by working collaboratively with the following cross-functional teams: content, development, UX, design, PR, social media, media and client services. It is imperative that you have strong data analysis capabilities and can translate performance into actionable recommendations for continuous improvement. In addition, you will be responsible for owning and delegating necessary changes based on the results.
Responsibilities
- Develop integrated organic search strategies for our clients
- Keep tabs on the ever-changing SEO landscape and incorporate relevant changes to existing and future organic plans
- Define and manage the production of SEO strategy deliverables, including keyword research, link auditing, scorecards, strategic reports and ongoing insights
- Conduct SEO audits that consider technical, on-page, and off-page elements, and collate these recommendations into a prioritized roadmap
- Conduct keyword, long-tail query and topical research to drive content strategy and content optimization
- Direct off-page optimization efforts
- Work with team to create and maintain Google My Business and other local listings for our clients
- Conduct migration support and compile 301 redirects in order to help clients re-platform or re-structure their website
- Collect, aggregate and analyze SEO-related data from sources that include, but are not limited to the following: Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Moz, SE Ranking, Ahrefs, Google Trends, etc.
- Create work requests for cross-functional team members
- Develop and nurture long-term internal and external relationships by being proactive, engaged and transparent.

Requirements
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience developing and implementing successful organic search strategies
- Proven track record across a variety of clients and industries
- Experience managing a team
- Knowledge of foundational and current SEO best practices
- Experience reporting on organic performance, including building a narrative around performance to articulate the ‘why’ to clients
- Excel at troubleshooting technical issues that impede success with search engines
- A marketing-oriented approach to drive the right visitors to our clients’ sites
- Excellent understanding of analytics and ability to extract insights
- A passion to follow industry changes and collaborate with other team leaders to continue to maintain a cutting-edge strategy for our clients
- Familiarity with relevant SEO tools
- Knowledge of technical SEO, including moderate HTML/CSS/JavaScript a big plus
