Job Coach Supervisor

$18 to start.

Morning shift, no weekends.

SHIFTS AVAILABLE : 7am to 3pm, full time

The Job Coach Supervisor supports individuals with developmental disabilities to have quality of life. The Direct Support Professional 1 and 2 promotes the health, safety and well-being of residents. A Direct Support Professional 1 and 2 serves as an advocate for our clients. This is a Level 4I home.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
• Knowledge of state and federal laws, Regional Center,Department of Developmental Services, and of Title 17 and 22.
• Knowledge of dual diagnosis, Individual Program Plans, client service needs, medication protocol, emergency disaster protocol, abuse reporting protocol, and behavior plans.
• Organization skills, time management skills, analytical skills, good written and verbal communication skills,
• Interpersonal skills, multi-tasking skills, critical thinking, active listening, reading comprehension, teamwork, interpretation, and problem-solving,
• Teaching, comparing, basic mathematical skills, classifying, analyzing, coordinating, innovating, and strategizing.
• Active listening, ability to interact effectively with management, social perceptiveness, maintain confidentiality, detail-oriented, flexibility, and adaptability

Highpointe Care provides services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and other complex challenges.

Day Program Direct Support Professional/Caregiver

Assist with Transportation and support outings/field trips, medical appointments, and shopping

Help train daily living skills including meal preparation and assist with medication

Guidance on a range of developmental goals from community participation, household budgeting, exercise, nutrition, and supporting vocational responsibilities

Support persons served with living skills such as personal hygiene, grooming and/or bathing

Assist individuals we serve to redirect agitated or aggressive behaviors

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Direct Support Professional I and Direct Support Professional II certificates highly preferred
• One year experience in a related field working with adults with developmental disabilities in a Level 4I home preferred

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
