What follows is what we believe makes us us as people, in no particular order: Connection, Depth, Curiosity, Direction and Withness®.   POSITION SUMMARY   The Client Operations Associate plays a crucial role at Nucleus and is central to executing our growth strategy. This role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and will be joining Nucleus’ seasoned Client Service team.   This role allows flexible, in-office hours at our brand-new space in the heart of NYC’s lively Chelsea neighborhood.   The successful candidate will be a proven and collaborative teammate, with the ability to embrace open communication and support the deepening of client relationships through interactions that start as transactional but ultimately inspire deeper connections with Nucleus.    Primary Purpose  Oversee and execute cash management tasks and money movement requests Communicate (verbal and written) with high-net-worth clients to assist with transactional requests for their accounts Open accounts according to onboarding checklist Accountable for processing and completing maintenance items on accounts Process and reconcile security and account transfers Process, reconcile and document (for compliance) check deposits and wire transfers Reconcile account transactions (including alternative investment transactions) Provide tax documents and information to clients’ accountants with proper authorization Process charitable giving requests, including grants and contributions Enroll and assist clients with online access to their accounts Respond to account activity and statement inquiries Provide administrative support as necessary  There will be opportunities to work with all members of the team and learn about asset allocation, portfolio management, alternative investments, and trust and estate, insurance, tax, financial and philanthropic planning.   The ideal candidate is one that is committed to making a positive difference for clients in the wealth management industry. The candidate has a keen interest and curiosity about financial markets and personal finance topics.   The candidate is thorough in their work, operates with a high attention to detail, has strong analytical, EQ, communication, interpersonal, organization, time management and problem-solving skills, and is driven to develop and grow in their role.    Competencies High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Ability to communicate effectively via messaging, phone, email, and verbally Be a contributing team member and assist others with tasks as needed Excellent time management and organization skills Initiating projects and asking, “How can I help?” Perseverance and resourcefulness in problem solving Desire to collaborate in small groups, move toward open dialogue and be surrounded by people equally inspired by learning Comfort with and desire to give and receive feedback Ability to foster relationships with teammates, clients, and third-party vendors Professionalism Creativity EQ, Attunement, and Empathy  Education and Experience  Undergraduate degree required (provide GPA) 2 years of professional experience  Desire to attain Series 7 and Series 66 registrations within 1-2 years
