Life as a Hightower Intern:
Our Interns have the chance to learn more about Hightower’s culture and businesses while developing practical skills necessary for future success and post-graduate opportunities. The program includes weekly conversations with C-level professionals related to career development, networking opportunities with other Hightower interns and colleagues, and engaging workshops related to post-graduation skills and money management. The program culminates with a final presentation given to Hightower executives, managers, and fellow interns where you will highlight your experience.
The summer internship program is a 10-week long program aimed to provide opportunities to:
Learn directly from industry experts by having weekly 1:1 conversations related to career development
Attend workshops related to post-college career paths and personal development
Gain exposure to the financial services industry
Develop a comprehensive understanding of specific team and department initiatives and goals
As an intern, you will participate in development meetings and a variety of networking, mentoring and community events, all intended to reinforce the Core Values of the Program – Education, Innovation, Leadership, Collaboration and Service.
The position is full time for the 10 weeks and is a paid, non-exempt position.
Your Future Team:
The Hightower Marketing team’s mission is to partner with internal and external stakeholders to provide excellent, quality, responsive, and reliable marketing support.
We do this in several ways:
Creating a consistent look and feel for the Hightower brand, sharing best practices related to business development and marketing efforts, and publishing tools and guidebooks that help advisory firms market themselves independently.
Meeting with firms on a recurring basis to develop and execute on strategic marketing plans and initiatives that help improve their engagement with COIs, clients, and prospects.
Publishing original thought leadership and content that firms can leverage in their marketing initiatives.
Hosting virtual and in-person events that focus on keeping our advisors informed about the trends shaping the RIA space and build community within our Hightower network.
What You’ll Do:
Work on projects and tasks that support strategic marketing initiatives for advisory firms, including email and social media campaigns; webinars and podcasts; paid advertising; marketing guidebooks for advisors; and a range of marketing collateral, presentations, fact sheets, and white papers that drive organic growth.
Attend meetings with advisory firms to learn more about how they market and enhance professional skills.
Work collaboratively with other members of the marketing team.
