We are in search of a qualified and resourceful HR Assistant to join our Technical Solutions division HR Services team, and support the HR group in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations.

This position is remote during COVID only. The selected individual for this role will have the option to work out of our Virginia Beach, VA or Huntsville, AL office.
What you will do:
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
• Supporting and providing customer service for centralized HR programs such as Military Pay Differentials, PTO Donation Requests and backup support for all other HR Services functions, including Leave Administration, ADA Accommodations tracking and Education Assistance
• Interacting with Human Resources and employees Responsible for ensuring assigned centralized HR processes are entered and tracked according to policy and guideline; maintain supporting documentation electronically, and produce reports
• High volume, timeline driven data entry of employee transactions in the human capital management system and company financial system
• Data requests in support of internal and external regulatory audits
• Supporting system and process upgrades and improvements through testing and process documentation
• Supporting the overall HR&A organization with file maintenance and other administrative HR related duties to include but not be limited to, filing, shredding, making copies, processing correspondences as requested, processing background and education verification checks, and coordinating activities required for termination files
• Participating in HR initiatives and projects
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience performing data management or similar employee file management and demonstrate strong attention to detail and customer service is required.
Candidate must have proficiency with MS Office and have proven communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Requirements
Experience with Costpoint and SAP Successfactors a plus.
Physical Requirements
Minimal mobility, dexterity, or coordination required to operate common business machines. Maximum lifting required is approximately 40 pounds from floor to three feet in height.
