Job Description
HII's System Integration group is seeking a C4ISR Installation - Shore Project Manager to join our team! This is a full-time role located in our Virginia Beach, VA office. As a Project Manager you will play a critical role on our SE4 contract by ensuring that successful and safe work is performed on board U.S. Naval Ships and Military installations which is vital to our Mission to protect and serve our Military.

What You Will Do
- Responsible for all aspects of field and/or task-level project performance (i.e., technical, contractual, administrative, financial).
- Supervises personnel involved in all aspects of project activity, organizes, and assigns responsibilities to subordinates, oversees the successful completion of all assigned tasks, and maintains customer contacts to ensure conformity to all contractual obligations.
- Exercises independent judgment, as well as a high-level of analytical skill, in solving non-routine technical, administrative, and managerial problems.
- Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
- Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
What You Must Have
Must have an active TS/SCI clearance.
Eight (8) years of direct work experience with shore C4ISR installations.
Six (6) years of direct work experience in managing or performing the design, implementation, testing, inspection, logistics, resource management, and completion of C4ISR system installation efforts for Department of Defense shore sites.
Four (4) years as manager of U.S. Navy shore installation projects involving multiple systems and in performing tasks to include: Supervising Project Personnel, Scheduling Work, Writing Proposals and Preparing Bids, and Equipment and Material Logistics Control.
Six (6) years of experience in telecommunications project planning and execution, including engineering, risk management, budgeting and oversight of task progress.
Four (4) or more years specialized experience performing work in each of the following areas:
Demonstrated ability to lead personnel through all aspects of project activity.
Demonstrated experience supporting Dept. of the Navy and/or Dept. of Defense programs.
Demonstrated experience supporting US Navy shore-based installation programs.
Demonstrated experience exercising independent judgement to solve non-routine technical, administrative and managerial problems.
6 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant progressive experience.
Bonus Points For...
Prefer candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline related field.
Relevant experience within DoD programs can substitute for education.
Project Management Certification (PMP) or IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) V.4
