We are seeking candidates to join our Trade Re-Entry Control Team (K48) at the Newport News Shipbuilding in Newport News, Virginia! This position is for an experienced Quality Analyst who will be working as a part of the Quality Assurance Team during an Engineering Overhaul of Naval Submarines.

What You Will Do
- Develop and implement program quality plans, programs, and procedures using statistical quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses.
- Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards.
- Reviews, analyzes and reports on quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical systems.
- Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met.
- Recommends corrective actions, dispositions and modifications.
What You Must Have
- 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
- Experience in Subsafe and Re Entry Control Processes are a must
- Prior military experience on US Naval Submarines
- An Active Secret Security Clearance
- Experience with Re Entry Control Processes during a Shipyard Availability
Bonus Points For Having!
- Prior Shipyard Experience a plus
- Ability to conduct briefs highly desired
Physical Requirements
Office, industrial or shipboard environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances. Lifting and moving of materials not to exceed the guidelines set for one man lift.
