Responsibilities: I want to and can do that!
- The Talent Acquisition (TA) Specialist will report to the Talent Acquisition Manager and will be responsible for performing full life cycle recruiting efforts. The role is ideal for a strong candidate who is passionate about or interested in working toward exceeding company-hiring goals.
- Must work very closely with hiring managers, engaging as a strategic business partner to assess hiring and business needs and successfully fill job openings in a timely manner.
- Using a variety of recruiting sources, the TA Specialist will review/post job openings, source resumes from internal and external websites, utilize social media and various advertisement options, identify qualified candidates, schedule interviews, provide benefit information, negotiate salary offers and extend employment offers.
- Attend and participate in regular Talent Acquisition meetings to discuss recruiting issues and updates.
- Responsible for managing applicant profiles in HRIS system (SAP SuccessFactors).
- Develop creative strategies to source, identify, attract, and hire top candidates in a timely fashion and share best practices with team members.
- Accurately assess candidates for cultural, competency and skill fit, quickly absorb candidate and hiring manager feedback and routinely pre-closes candidates to ensure high acceptance rates.
- Act as a business partner by advising hiring managers on effective interviewing techniques and collaborates with others throughout the organization to ensure a smooth process and meeting required business objectives.
- Creates and fosters relationships with colleagues and diverse professional organizations to attract, recruit and pipeline critical skilled candidates, alumni, and diversity applicants.
What you must have:
- 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
- Effective customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience in full life-cycle recruiting, from requirements analysis to hiring, to include understanding real job needs at a domain/technical and results level.
- Demonstrated experience and ability to define and implement proactive sourcing methods to include leveraging job boards, CRM, ATS, career fairs, and social media, among other methods, to maximize candidate quality and personal productivity.
- Working understanding of OFCCP regulations and Revolving Door hiring.
- Active in the Social Digital and recruitment arena
- Possess the business acumen to influence key stakeholders, develop trusting relationships and effects business outcomes.
- Understand and adheres to compliance, diversity, and talent acquisition processes.
- Technical industry knowledge with the ability to understand relevant skills, target companies and user groups
