What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Supervisor position at HIKINEX?
Industrial Maintenance Supervisor: Mill in Shuqualak, MS. $75k-$100k, depending on experience. Health, Dental, Vision, life & 401k after probationary period. MUST have full knowledge of Industrial Maintenance, including hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyor systems, welding & shop equipment. Hrs. will be 11am-9pm Monday to Friday, with rotating half day Saturdays.
Job Duties
- Supervise 4-6 employees
- Meet daily with Production Supervisor and Day Maintenance
- Oversee and inspect work by Night Maintenance
- Prevent Injuries and accidents by making sure the crew follows all safety guidelines.
- Ensure that all machinery is in proper working condition prior to leaving the plant site
- Work with all supervisors and employees to ensure the plant runs as efficiently as possible.
Required Experience
- Minimum of ten years of experience in Industrial Maintenance, sawmill experience preferred
- Working knowledge of electrical testing equipment and basic hand and power tools
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Degree in Industrial Maintenance preferred
