Job Summary:
TheDirector of Operationsis responsible for managing the daily operations of our restaurant, including the selection, development and performance management of employees. In addition, they oversee the inventory and ordering of food and supplies, optimize profits and ensure that guests are satisfied with their dining experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Senior manager responsible for all aspects of front of house operations.
Responsible for meeting budgeted financial targets including top line sales, bottom line net income, labor cost percentage and beverage cost budgets.
Responsible for aiding in the documentation of all operational procedures and processes for ongoing development of operating manual.
Responsible for weekly sales projections. Responsible for aiding in creation of annual budget.
Responsible for managing restaurant operations to established budgets and responding to monthly P&L by addressing irregularities and cost variances.
Responsible for supervising the booking, operations and execution of all on premise events and off-premise catering and delivery.
Holds weekly manager meetings, daily shift meetings with staff, and periodic departmental and full FOH staff meetings.
Supervises all management( both front and back of the house ) of beverage inventory, costs, product mix, specialty drink menu and promotional beverage offerings.
Responsible for ordering all POS supplies and equipment.
Handles all guest relations, actively engages with and creates new regulars and ensures follow up on any complaints or guest feedback in a gracious and genuine manner.
Provides inspirational leadership to our management team, coaches effectively, holds the team accountable, conducts weekly meetings and one-on-ones as needed.
Executes general responsibilities to minimize operations costs, maintains system to cost controls.
Works with events team and marketing to implement promotional events and programs.
Responsible for supervising restaurant maintenance procedures and for budgeting restaurants equipment.
Responsible for overall restaurant cleanliness, meeting all Heath Department standards, oversees all pest control and elimination procedures
