Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in social work, Human Resource Field, or related disciplines like Sociology, Special Education, Rehabilitative Counseling, or Psychology.
- License/Certification in accordance with state laws and regulations.
- One year of supervised social work experience in a healthcare setting.
Physical and Communication Requirements:
Your role will encompass a variety of physical tasks and communication needs:
- Interaction with residents and families to maintain dignity, provide counseling, and facilitate emotional support.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to understand and meet residents' unique needs.
- Building relationships between residents and staff while promoting individuality and choice.
- Assisting residents in the decision-making process about their healthcare.
