If you love to play and teach tennis this is a teaching-only commission-based position. Our private country club sits on 142 acres in the heart of Los Angeles at the intersection of Beverly Hills and Century City. We have ten tennis courts plus one of LA’s only clay courts, and a newly renovated 18-hole golf course among our many assets. Recognized as a Platinum Club of America. The Hillcrest Tennis Professional will be a talented tennis player, committed to the sport. He or she will be an important part of our Tennis Program, delivering services directly to members as instructors and coaches for players of all ages, at all levels. A competitive player, the Tennis Professional will be chosen for hir or her experience on the court, love of the sport and enthusiasm for teaching. The Tennis Professional will also serve as a hitter for doubles and singles sessions, conduct junior and adult clinics and help out with tennis related events as well as Club events. He or she may also string racquets for members. The Tennis Professional will recognize the importance of their role in the success of the Clubs tennis program, view no task as insignificant and take pride in providing outstanding service and contributing to the success of their team and the Club as a whole.

Position Qualifications: *
- High school diploma required; bachelors degree preferred
- A strong tennis game and at least 1 year of prior experience teaching tennis to adults, preferably in a similar luxury environment
- A service-oriented personality; warm, friendly and outgoing without being overbearing, possessing a pleasant and caring manner with everyone
- Able to communicate effectively and professionally with all stakeholders; to follow oral and written instructions and to memorize necessary information
- A team player able to work well with others
- Great attention to detail
- Exceptional grooming habits, reliably presenting in clean professional tennis attire
- Punctual and reliable
- Able to work long hours on short notice, juggle multiple competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Comfortable with frequent interruptions
