Candidate Profile
Hilldrup is recruiting for an on - site Project Manager to ensure all services under their control during assigned projects and relocations are performed consistently. The Project Manager is also responsible for the written agreed-upon purchase orders and signed move agreements. The incumbent will work on-site and have daily contact with customers, project managers, contract administrators, national account personnel, and others involved with various relocation projects.
Significant Responsibilities and Essential Functions
- Responsible for ensuring all additional services requested are outlined and agreed upon in a signed addendum before providing services.
- Provide complete management of the entire project through timelines, budgets, coordination, supervision, and effective communication to all team members.
- Serves as the point of contact to professionally plan and manage any assigned relocation project(s) from inception to completion.
- Ensures that service, quality of work, and completion dates are met.
- Responsible for tracking the costs of the project in progress to ensure we remain within budget.
- Work closely with the billing personnel to track daily costs using the current billing system.
- Plan, coordinate, and prepare moves to ensure high levels of customer service, the efficiency of contractor/crews, and maximize profitability for Hilldrup.
- Maintains constant contact with the assigned salesperson when managing a project, notifying them or a supervisor of occurrences and potential problems during the project.
- Works with dispatch to coordinate personnel, vehicle, and equipment requirements for projects.
- Understands and works with systems furniture blueprints.
- Provide customers with accurate and detailed estimates.
- Effectively facilitates team and client meetings.
