As a member of the Baxter's Advanced Technology Research & Development Team, you will assist in the world class research and engineering of Global Medical Products and Systems. You will be responsible for the research and creation of new sensor and biomedical technologies under the direction of the Advanced Technology Leader.

We are a team of inquisitive individuals who embrace a collaborative environment to take on sophisticated challenges that meet the needs of our patients. We often need to change directions and respond to issues to avoid disruptions in our fast-paced manufacturing environment. Together, we build and maintain a positive work environment.

• Help innovate new medical technology devices.
• Perform research and prototyping communicate.
• Work in a team environment for continuous progress in meeting project schedules, and support Senior Engineers in product development.
• Research disease states and technologies.

• In progress with a degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; enjoy working in a team setting while being self-motivated.
• Ability to understand specification documents.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to use test equipment and implement detailed test protocols.
• Enjoy multi-tasking under moderate pressure; the willingness to learn new applications.
• First time Co-ops as well as candidates with experience will be considered.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base salary range of $33,000 to $76,000 plus an annual incentive bonus, commission target. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
