Your Role at Baxter:

Care and Connectivity Communications Project Managers supervise all aspects of the client project engagement from sales handoff to transition to ongoing support. Further, Project Manager's play an integral role in planning customer technology roadmaps and customer attainment strategy. Key activities include project planning, prioritization and coordination, project risk assessment and mitigation, revenue forecasting, customer communication and internal stakeholder management.

This dynamic role, in the healthcare software industry, is pivotal within Baxter Care and Connectivity Communications Digital Platforms & Innovation department. The Project Manager (PM) is a field-based role, responsible for the planning, coordination, documentation, and execution of Baxter Care Communications customer-awarded projects per Project Management specifications.

• Act with autonomy as the point of contact for all client project related needs during an active implementation. Provide strong, proactive, project leadership. Drive follow-ups.

• Apply project management software, conduct regular meetings, provide agendas and meeting minutes, and create and maintain project plans.

• Lead project scope and deliverables across multiple, concurrent engagements.

• Continually assess and prioritize defined sequence tasks, within daring schedules, through individual effort and coordination of the work of others.

• Supervise all required project metrics, i.e., number of rooms converted per day.

• Run communication among collaborators to ensure that all parties are aware of the project's progress, risk factors, and required actions.

• Proactively manage installation vendor performance to meet efficiency and quality metrics.

• Schedule project resources appropriately while maintaining strong internal and external communication to the customer.

• Collaborate with order management to ensure product shipment efficiencies.

• Ability to quickly grasp and distinctly explain technological concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Consult with customers and Baxter sales team on long-term technology strategy.

• Understand the outstanding challenges facing each customer and offer custom solutions.

• Act as a resource for sales team during long-term planning sessions.

• Understand the customer journey and guide them along the path to greater product adoption, customer/patient satisfaction and outcomes, and patient workflow integration.

• Define a clear revenue management strategy that supports individual revenue goal attainment.

• Demonstrate project management excellence to ensure predictable install completion.

• Balance the backlog of your customer with knowledge of short, mid, and long-term orders.

• Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to function of work, preferred. HS Diploma/GED, required.

• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in project management working in a healthcare setting and/or healthcare consulting capacity.

• Ability to facilitate, manage and empower large, diverse groups without direct line authority.

• Demonstrated bias for action and decisiveness; comfortable with some level of ambiguity and a track record of delivering outstanding customer service.

• Skilled in data analysis and problem solving using defined methodologies.

• Clear ability to multitask and handle sophisticated matters decisively and without consultation.

• Proven track record to engage and effectively connect with leadership teams, including C-Suite presentations.

• Proven success in internal and external communication and relationship management with all levels of expertise from administrative to executive.

• Must have technical aptitude required to effectively collaborate with IT departments, leading structured conversations around server and network builds.

• PMP, CAPM or other industry related certification(s) a plus.

• For this fully remote position, ideal candidate will have experience working with fully remote project teams and leading projects to successful completion.

• Ability to travel up to 25% to support customer-facing meetings.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
