Hillyard, Inc. is currently taking applications for an Accounting Specialist - AP. The individual in this position will be based out of St. Joseph, MO. Hillyard is a family-owned company founded in 1907! We are seeking an individual that will provide support of the day to day operations within the Accounting Department. This position will
- Review of invoices electronically submitted from vendors and processed by OCR in Esker
- Communication with internal customers surrounding any invoice discrepancies
- Preparing and performing payment runs in SAP
- Organization and management of both paper and electronic files
- Performs all accounts payable research as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 years experience in accounts payable or related field.
- The ability to proficiently use Excel and continuously strive for accuracy.
- Proficient in the use of Word and communication through Microsoft Outlook or Teams
- Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to effectively present information, respond to questions from both internal / external customers
of varied organization levels and challenge concerns.
