Summary:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Dermatology Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our clinic team. The Dermatology APP will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care under the supervision of our board-certified dermatologist. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic clinical environment, providing comprehensive dermatological services to patients of all ages. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a passion for dermatology, and a commitment to delivering compassionate care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive dermatological assessments, including history-taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as biopsies, cultures, and imaging studies, as necessary.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of dermatological conditions, including but not limited to acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin cancer, and cosmetic concerns.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, preferences, and medical history.
- Perform various dermatological procedures, including biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions, and injections, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Provide patient education on skincare practices, treatment options, and preventive measures to promote skin health and wellness.
- Collaborate closely with supervising dermatologist and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient encounters, treatment plans, and follow-up recommendations accurately and timely in the electronic health record system.
- Stay current on the latest advancements in dermatology research, treatment modalities, and clinical guidelines.
Education Requirements:
Candidates must hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Hawaii, DEA, and Hawaii Controlled Substance, BLS
