What does the role involve?The purpose of the role is to create value in the allocated account's portfolio through effective design and implementation of individual account strategies to build long term, sustainable and profitable relationships with the customer. The role involves professional field sales and high level customer consultation in the defined territory within the target industry. The job holder needs to provide efficient solutions and technical support to customers and represent the Hilti brand in the market place.

Day to day you'll report to your regional sales manager, who will also be there to help you manage your career.

The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skills sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the application geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
At Hilti, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $58,000 - $75,000.
- Minimum of three years of outside sales experience with proven track record of success growing sales to a loyal client base within a designated geographical area while strengthening the company's position and market share within assigned territory, or three years of direct industry experience.
- Bilingual (fluent) in Spanish is preferred, but not required.
- Previous experience building strong relationships with a smaller amount of customers with larger hierarchies and structure as well as previous executive selling presence.
- Some experience with reading and understanding construction documents preferred. Proficient computer skills including Salesforce, MS Office suite, and smartphones
- Previous experience of preparing professional sales presentations and quotes for clients
- Ability to assist credit department in collecting on outstanding accounts receivables. Excellent time and territory management skills
- Ability to thrive both independently and in a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to develop engaged client relationships and effectively implement strategic concepts. Must be persuasive, sales driven, client focused, and a team player
- Must maintain a professional business appearance in accordance with HNA dress policy at all times
