Construction Manager
Hilton Head Landscapes is a fast-growing, Hilton Head Island, SC-based, full-service construction company that provides a complete end-to-end construction services package to the government and commercial markets. We are looking for a Construction Manager to join our team. The Construction Manager will be responsible for managing the construction projects from start to finish. This position will be responsible for managing the project from start to finish, including all of the subcontractors, estimating, bidding, scheduling and more.
Responsibilities:
·Prepare estimates and bid packages for all phases of projects.
·Prepare and submit bid packages for all phases of projects.
·Prepare and submit change orders as needed.
·Review and approve all purchase orders and vendor invoices.
·Review and approve all subcontractors and submittals.
·Manage project schedule, budgets, contracts, and other project related documents.
·Ensure that project deadlines are met on time.
·Ensure that project quality is maintained throughout the entire process.
·Ensure that project communication is clear and timely throughout the process.
·Ensure that project quality is maintained throughout the entire process.
·Coordinate with vendors, contractors, subcontractors, etc., to ensure that project is completed in a timely manner with high quality standards.
·Coordinate with Project Managers on projects to ensure that project is completed in a timely manner with high quality standards.
·Manage staff including hiring, training, scheduling, etc., as needed.
·Other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor as needed or requested by client or manager
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction management required; Experience in the federal government or military preferred; Experience in a military contractor environment preferred; Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) preferred; Ability to work independently with minimal supervision required; Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously required; Ability to read and interpret blueprints required

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
