HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Using revenue, sales, and STR market share data with SQL, VBA, and MS Excel to develop reports and analyses, and form views about business to support the strategy and improve decision-making within the RMCC.
- Maintain processes and seek innovations and customizations in reports that automate sales, revenue, market share analytics, and audits to support the RMCC team.
- Improving RMCC metric visibility to allow quicker action and ad-hoc RMCC-specific performance analysis.
- Initiating the development life cycle with the Enterprise Architecture team for new data features and analytical reporting dashboards.
- Participating in learning and development opportunities to support Hilton improving process improvement
- Develop a technical understanding of a big data environment and toolsets to improve analytics capabilities
How you will collaborate with others:
- Draw on the experience of established Analytics team members to build a knowledge base of processes, reports, data sources, and answers to commonly asked questions. 
- Attend monthly Analytics team meetings to share successes and useful information, and advice on current challenges or obstacles. RMCC and other Hilton leaders are invited to detail their career paths, their team&rsquos functions and projects, and answer questions.  
- Work with a wide scope of RMCC and Hilton enterprise partners on project and enhancement requests. Take care to understand their needs, communicate any additional possibilities or limitations, and receive and implement feedback. 
What projects you will take ownership of:
- The RMCC Analytics team develops industry-leading Revenue Management tools and reports that support strategy and improve decision making for over 2,400 hotels. Revenue Analysts &ndash Analytics will be given ownership of managing, and enhancing existing processes, like the Global Daily Details report. 
- New tool and report requests arise frequently, giving ample opportunity to learn new skills and develop in the role. 
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Three (3) years of experience in an analytical role
- One (1) year of experience with Excel VBA, Microsoft SQL, Python, or similar programs
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
It would be useful if you have:
- Associate&rsquos or bachelor&rsquos with coursework in Business Administration or Hospitality
- Three (3) years of programming experience with VBA, VB.NET, SQL, or similar programs
- Three (3) years of business analytics experience with Python, Microsoft SQL, Excel, HTML, or similar programs
- Three (3) years of experience with Hospitality technology systems, including OnQ Revenue Management, OnQ Forecast Management, OnQ Rate & Inventory, GRO or IDeaS
