What will I be doing: As the Senior Director, HSM Property Operations and Labor Strategy, you will be responsible for the strategic sourcing and category management for the areas of Property Services, Energy, and Corporate and Property Labor.
The Property Services category encompasses hotel operating services, such as Music curation, Parking, Security, Waste and Recycling, Elevator maintenance, and Pest Control. For the Energy category, this includes Utilities, Electric Vehicle Charging, Light Bulbs, and Energy Management. The Labor category includes the overarching HSM labor strategy, which includes management strategy of Hilton corporate’s contractor MSP/VMS program, the property labor hotel participation contracts, as well as any labor-related projects, such as internal and external Hilton gig platforms plus the approach and management of Independent Contractors.
More specifically, you will:
- Develop Category Strategies including the development of strategic partners to support Hilton’s brands
- Partner with the Brands and other key stakeholders to define sourcing strategies, determine how best to implement and track performance against these strategies
- Lead contractual negotiations for all responsible categories
- Streamline and optimize business processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Communicate effectively and collaboratively with brands and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on category strategies and priorities. This includes providing outstanding customer service to all internal partners
- Handle all contingent Labor programs across corporate and property including Hilton’s Managed Service Provider (MSP) and Vendor Management System (VMS) program strategy and Gig platform strategy
- Liaise with Corporate Sustainability and Responsible Sourcing on all Energy related projects and initiatives
- Direct Reports: Director - Labor, Sr. Manager – Energy, Sr. Manager - Property Ops, Manager - Property Ops
Requirements

- Ability to actively participate in meetings and group discussions
- Ability to work well under deadline pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to adapt to constantly evolving circumstances and changing organizational requirements
To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
- Ten (10) years of Procurement or Supply Chain experience at a large multinational company
- Three (3) years of supervisory management experience
It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- MA/MS/MBA Master’s Degree
- Hospitality Industry experience
- Operations and/or Services procurement experience
- Experience with Coupa or other leading procurement platforms
