About the Role:
Hims & Hers is seeking an experienced Sourcing Manager to join the Supply Chain team and will report to the Senior Sourcing Manager. The Sourcing Manager will work cross-functionally to deliver the company’s API and finished-good sourcing needs as well as support our supply chain optimization goals.
You Will:
- Develop relationships with new finished product and API suppliers & manage existing relationships
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify suppliers for new product launches
- Collaborate with partners to help optimize KPI metrics required to ensure quality and performance
- Conduct Business Reviews to drive supplier performance & prioritization of business needs
- Implement "best in class" supply chain improvements
- Continually investigate & initiate sourcing and cost reduction opportunities to increase supply chain efficiencies, reduce risk, and improve gross margins
- Apply a wide range of sourcing tools (6-step sourcing, negotiations, SRM, electronically facilitated sourcing events, etc.)
You Have:
- BA/BS or equivalent with 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience with Strategic Sourcing and improving supplier performance
- Familiarity with contracting language and experience in negotiating contracts with suppliers
- Strong knowledge of supply chain principles and processes
- Strength in negotiations, cost/price analysis, and purchasing procedures is also essential
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are required
- Experience working with finished goods, third-party contract manufacturers or manufacturing is required
- Experience with or certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement is preferred
- Experience in pharmaceutical industry environments is strongly preferred

Conditions of Employment:
- This position will require working with Hazardous Drugs (HD) and would require that Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) be worn for the length of working with these drugs. These items would include gloves, respiratory protection, gown and other items as required.
- This position requires medical approval to wear respiratory protection in the form of negative or positive pressure respirators, including N95, full face respirator, SCBA, or Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR).
- Physical exertion required. Including, but not limited to, walking up to 50% of the time, standing up to 100% of the time, squatting and bending up to 20% of the time and lifting up to 80% of the time for up to a twelve hour shift. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Due to the risk of reproductive capability in handling or compounding certain Hazardous Drugs (HD) associates must be willing to confirm that they understand the potential risks (teratogenicity, carcinogenicity and reproductive effects) of handling hazardous drugs.
