In the United States, Hino Motors Manufacturing U.S.A. currently has Team Members working across 4 states including Michigan, Arkansas, West Virginia and California. The Corporate Office is in Novi, Michigan. Hino assembles medium-duty trucks at its Mineral Wells, West Virginia plant. Its manufacturing facilities in Marion, Arkansas produces axles, knuckles and suspension components. Hino’s Parts Distribution Center in Mira Loma, California supplies Latin American and Caribbean distributors with genuine Hino service parts.
Hino Motors is seeking an Production Control Supervisor for the Night Shift at our Hino location in Marion, Arkansas. The Production Control Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all internal material movement and storage to prevent part shortages and assembly line stoppages. This position provides services (raw materials) to the production manufacturing groups and finished goods to North America Manufacturing Company.
What you will be doing:
- Maintaining a safe work area and ensuring Team Members are adhering to safe work practices
- Lead Team Members in the department to ensure optimal performance
- Communicate abnormal inventory levels within the PC Department to Buyers and Schedulers
- Lead and participate in 5S activities for PC area
- Develop and maintain standard work processes for material storage and movement
- Other duties as required
Required Education and Experience to perform the position:
- 3 years of working experience in a Supervisory/leadership role in an automotive manufacturing environment
- Bachelor’s degree in a business or related field or equivalent amount of work experience
- APICS Certification Preferred
