What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recruitment Specialist position at Hino Motors MFG USA Inc?
Hino Motors Manufacturing is an OEM that assembles trucks in West Virginia, automotive components in Arkansas, and operates a parts distribution center in California. We are currently seeking a Recruitment Specialist for our Corporate Office located in Novi, Michigan reporting directly to the Senior Corporate Recruiter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building positive relationships to ensure a positive candidate experience
- Post open positions and repost existing positions to HRIS system (ADP Recruiting)
- Assess applicant qualifications, conduct phone screens, coordinate interviews with Hiring Managers, and follow up.
- Promptly disposition candidates
- Participate in local job fairs. Create relationships with universities and post positions on university web sites as needed
- Prepare offer letters, administer post offer background checks and drug screens
- Manage preboarding formalities and prepare new hire paperwork
- Create & maintain reports. Track candidate and recruitment updates.
- Process invoices
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Education & experience Requirements:
- Associate’s degree required (Human Resources or Business). Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 0-2 years of experience
- Experience using ADP Recruitment, LinkedIn and really Required Skills:
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills: Ability to plan and follow-up
- Medium to advanced level of proficiency in MS Excel
- Good communication skills: written, verbal and effective listening
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Ability to collaborate with Hiring Managers and HR Colleagues
- Ability to build talent pipelines and create a strong network
- Ability to partner with external recruiters as needed
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and multiple deadlines
- Must have a sense of urgency
