Job Title: Robot Operator
Reports to: Shop Supervisor
Job Type: Hourly, Non-Exempt
Location: 27807 Red Fox Rd, Tomball, TX 77377

SUMMARY: Loads and unloads parts in jigs for production robots.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

 Loads and unloads parts in jigs for production robots.

 Helps setup jigs for job changes.

 Uses start boxes to generate program start/stop

 Visually inspects parts per sample and per Supervisor.

 Follows Supervisor directions.

 Performs general daily maintenance on equipment.

 Operates forklifts.

 Upkeep and cleanliness of work areas.

 Follow company safety & security guidelines

 Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this job.

 Other duties as needed.

 Previous experience

 On the job training to be provided, as needed, for all assigned responsibilities.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Employee may be required to do the following: climbing into and out of equipment; reaching in all directions, handling and manipulating objects and materials; coordinating the movements of eyes, hands, fingers and feet to operate tools and equipment; lifting up to 40 pounds from ground level, waist level, and/or overhead; carrying objects, tools, equipment, etc.; standing; sitting; walking; pushing; pulling; bending; kneeling; crouching/squatting; crawling; seeing with or without correction; hearing with or without correction. The employee is frequently required to sit while performing the duties of this job (approx. 20%) walk (70%) stand (10%) sit. The employee is expected to lift or move materials (40% of workday)

MENTAL DEMANDS
Employee may be required to do the following: following set procedures and standards; applying basic mathematical skills; planning work and selecting proper tools; reading and interpreting information; judging distances and accurately; following oral and/or written directions; reading; writing; ability to recognize and report safety hazards
