Job Posting for Legal Recruiting Coordinator at Hire Options
Law firm is seeking a Legal Recruiting Assistant to provide support and assistance to the Firm’s Legal Recruiting Department.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Prepare for the on-campus recruiting season by gathering information for law schools
Ensure that law school registration applications are complete
Plan hospitality suite functions
Prepare on-campus interview (OCI) materials for attorneys including binders, resumes, evaluation forms, office statistics, school information
Prepare statistical reports for each law school
Set-up and participate in all on-campus events
Serve as the liaison for students invited for call-back interviews
Schedule multiple in-office interviews per day and handle all cancellations/changes as they arise
Escort applicants to interviews throughout the day during recruiting season
Track interview feedback
Plan law school panels, receptions and recruitment dinners
Prepare materials for Hiring Committee meetings including resumes, transcripts, evaluations, statistical reports and weekly updates
Generate response letters and track candidates in legal recruiting application tracking software
Track lateral searches, schedule interviews and assist as needed on lateral recruiting efforts
Assist with the Summer Program, including:
Planning summer associate events
Creating and updating charts
Maintaining RSVP lists and creating name tags
Preparing for Summer Program Committee meetings
Tracking summer associate evaluations
Preparing for mid-summer and end-of-summer reviews
Reserving conference rooms
Scheduling trainings and preparing materials for students
Other tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required
2-4 years of relevant work experience preferred
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Handle multiple, time-sensitive tasks and work well in a high-pressure environment, with a wide range of professionals
Must assume responsibility for maintaining the highest level of confidentiality
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with viRecruit a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
