Geologist

Hire Resolve’s client is a leading a leading Civil Engineering firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of a Geologist in Oklahoma City, OK.

Responsibilities:

• Coordination, scheduling, and oversight of field work including health and safety, planning and correspondence with subcontractors and vendors, field staff and client contacts.
• Effectively communicating verbally and in writing with team members, base personnel, client, and other stakeholders.
• Conducting environmental field work, including soil logging, groundwater and air sampling, fluid level gauging, remediation systems operations, maintenance, and monitoring, and oversight of field surveys, drilling, well installation, development operations and utility clearance for intrusive operations.
• Experience overseeing drilling operations.
• Travel to project locations including driving and overnight stays. Field document preparation, field data collection, processing and interpretation.
• Supporting office tasks, including data management and analysis and basic technical report preparation.
• Interpreting and recording data, conducting analyses, comparing findings to relevant studies and local, state and federal regulations to ensure compliance.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Engineering, Environmental Science, Soil Scientist, or closely related field and 4 years of experience in environmental consulting and or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• Valid driver's license
• Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required.
• 5 years of experience in environmental consulting
• 40-Hour HAZWOPER training
• OSHA 30-Hour training

• Salary: $65K/yr - $85K/yr negotiable
