Responsibilities:
· Establish production goals and develop plans to meet these objectives efficiently.
· Ensure production stays on schedule and meets quality standards.
· Write comprehensive production reports and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement.
· Optimize production processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
· Direct the layout of equipment and flow of materials for maximum productivity.
· Ensure compliance with performance and safety requirements for workers and equipment.
· Proactively identify and address issues in the production process, implementing improvements as needed.
· Recruit, train, and evaluate the performance of leaders and production staff.
· Provide support and guidance to workers, addressing any questions, concerns, or feedback that arises.
· Supervise staff and delegate tasks to employees effectively.
· Collaborate with other departments, including finance, HR, and logistics, to coordinate production activities and ensure seamless operations.
· Maintain accurate production data and work-in-progress (WIP) records, adhering to regulatory standards such as IATF 16949.
· Demonstrate flexibility by working overtime, including holidays and weekends, as needed.
· Implement 6S and visual management practices to optimize workplace organization and efficiency.
· Undertake any other tasks assigned by superiors to support overall business objectives.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or operations supervisory role, preferably within the automotive or electric vehicle industry.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Proficiency in key functional areas such as quality assurance and manufacturing processes.
· Familiarity with tools and methodologies such as MS Projects, 5S, PDCA, and 4M management.
· Ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
· Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
· Proficiency in relevant computer applications, including MS Office and CAD software.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
