Job Title : Dental Assistant Permanent Schedule Tuesday - Thursday : 6 : 30 AM - 4 : 00 PM, Friday : 6 : 30 AM - 1 : 00 PM

Job Responsibilities Include :
Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures while helping patients feel comfortable
Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
Take dental radiographs (x-rays)
Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
Requirements :
Dental Assistant Certificate where state regulations specify
X-ray certification where state regulations specify
At least 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant Preferred; Candidates must have at least one year of experience working in general dentistry and be expected to perform routine hygiene duties, including the following : scaling and root planning, FMDs, probing, Arestin application, and taking digital x-rays.
Online charting is a plus but not required.
Certification / Licenses -
